The last couple days of our Indian adventure have been steeped in adventures for some and sickness for others. For those of us who were able to escape our beds in the morning, we explored the shops and sights of Banares. Our spoils of silks and spices were secured in our totes as we braved the heat on the ghats of the Ganga. Venders and bright orange pilgrims charmed the street chanting mantras and offering salutations.
In our water-bottle strewn sanctuary that is the Nirman guest house, the ensemble relaxes. In the common area, common activities include worshiping the swirling blades on the ceiling, laughing, complaining, philosophizing and dozing.
Throwing the advice of K's Health Center to the wind, we fill the void of our pampered pooches with the likes of Nirman's mascots.
